Courses transferred will incur an administration fee of £35. No refund or transfer will be available to students who do not attend a course on the day on which they are booked.
A £60 deposit must be paid to secure your training and hold your date. The balance will fall due 28 days before the commencement of the course.

If your course is due to take place in less than 28 days full payment is required to hold and secure your date.

If for any reason a course is cancelled by AuroraStar Holistic Therapies & Training a full refund will be given.

Training Manual: Once full payment has been received, students will be sent the Training Manual in PDF format via email with their confirmation and receipt.
We ask that students read through the manual as it will prepare them for their training. Students may wish to print off a copy to take with them on the day of training, but it isn’t compulsory as training does cover much of what is included in the manual. Students may wish to take a notepad and pen to take notes.   A hard copy of the routine will be provided.

PLEASE NOTE. The manual remains the Intellectual Property of AuroraStar Holistic Therapies & Training and may NOT be reproduced, photocopied or used by any unauthorised person for teaching and training purposes without written consent from AuroraStar Holistic Therapies & Training. We believe in transparency and follow a strict Code of Ethics so should a student have their own Training School and would like to use the AuroraStar manuals for teaching purposes, they are requested to contact us about the possibility of having the course material rebranded. Legal action will be taken if this clause is breached.

Students will be asked to complete a health consultation form and sign a declaration before receiving a treatment during their training. Students are advised that they are responsible for their own health and well-being and undertake courses and participate in practical training, both giving and receiving treatments, without prejudice and at their own risk.  If a student is having “one to one” tuition they may receive a taster treatment facilitated by their tutor, but this is NOT GUARANTEED.

Students will behave in an adult manner and be polite to fellow students and their Tutor.  Should students act in a manner deemed inappropriate by the tutor they will be asked to leave, and no further training will be offered.  The offending student will lose any fees that have been paid in respect of their training.

Students will act in an ethical manner befitting their role as a therapist.  Any disclosures during training will be treated in the strictest confidence.

For health and safety reasons, students may be asked to remove jewellery during their training.  It is the student’s responsibility to keep all personal belongings safe.  AuroraStar Holistic Therapies & Training does not accept any liability for loss or damage to property whilst at the training venue. AuroraStar Holistic Therapies & Training does not accept liability for loss or damage to vehicles whilst students are undertaking training at the training venue.

All AuroraStar Holistic Therapies & Training courses are accredited by VHMBTAHTT who award the qualification, are endorsed by The APTL and are insurable by Wellbeing Insurance https://wellbeinginsurance.co.uk/

AuroraStar Holistic Therapies & Training does not accept responsibility, nor will a refund be given, in the event of an employer, training provider, professional organisation or insurance company NOT accepting an AuroraStar Holistic Therapies & Training qualification. Students are requested to refer to the AuroraStar Holistic Therapies & Training website where they will find a FAQ page for further information. http://www.aurorastar.co.uk/frequently-asked-questions.php

Students studying a modality where case studies are a requirement, such as Swedish Body Massage, Aromatherapy Massage and Reflexology, who do not have insurance in place are advised to obtain Student Insurance before undertaking their unsupervised case studies.

Students will qualify for a discount off their first premium when insuring with Wellbeing by quoting “AuroraStar”

Once the student has successfully completed their case studies, they can upgrade to full insurance. Some students may decide not to take out student insurance, however, AuroraStar Holistic Therapies & Training does not accept responsibility should a claim be made against a student whilst undertaking their case studies.

Students who are qualified in other modalities and already have insurance in place do not need to apply for student insurance. Likewise, students undertaking training where case studies are NOT required, will not need to take out Student Insurance. However, once qualified, students will require full membership insurance to practice professionally.

From time to AuroraStar Holistic Therapies & Training may be required to make amendments to the course manuals to comply with changes in legislation within the industry. It is the student’s responsibility to keep up to date with current changes within the industry and the terms and conditions of their insurers. AuroraStar Holistic Therapies & Training does not accept responsibility for changes in legislation that occur after the student qualifies.

With the exception of Swedish Massage Diploma, Reflexology Diploma and Aromatherapy Diploma, where case studies are required, students will be awarded their qualification on the day of the course*, however, if the tutor considers that the student requires further instruction students may be asked to carry out case studies to prove competence and may be required to attend for further training before their Diploma will be issued. If additional training is deemed to be required it will be provided free of charge on the understanding it is undertaken within a month (subject to availability)  Should the student not attend for further training within the given time they will be required to undertake the course again before attaining their qualification and the full fee will be applied.

*Occasionally a qualification will be posted to the student.

AuroraStar Holistic Therapies & Training provide quality training and have a policy to treat all students with respect and confidentiality.  Should a student have any complaints about their training, they must put their complaint in writing.  Students can be assured that any correspondence will be dealt with promptly.
