This one day intensive course will teach you everything you need to know about the history of Ear Candling, the techniques, benefits, contra-indications, contra-actions, basic anatomy of the head, skin and anatomy and physiology of the outer and inner ear.
Thermal Auricular Therapy is easy to learn and is a really useful addition to the therapists toolkit! It can benefit children as well as adults who have ear, nose and throat problems, allergies, sinus problems, as well as really helping to clear out the system and boost the immune system after a cold or virus. As well as instruction of the safe use of the candles, students will learn a basic facial massage designed to stimulate the lymphatic system as well as bringing about deep relaxation.
The course is dedicated to hands-on practice ensuring students are able to carry out a treatment confidently, safely and effectively. The comprehensive manual covers theory, setting up in business and after the course, ongoing support is provided.
It should be noted that this is a complementary treatment and should not replace the advice of a medical practitioner.
Upon completion students will be awarded a Diploma in Thermal Auricular Therapy provided they can satisfy the Tutor that they are confident and competent.
Biosun candles are used on this course -they have an internal safety filter and are CE marked
£160 Inclusive of high quality natural beeswax candles made from unbleached cotton and with internal filters for use on the course, Comprehensive Manual, Diploma and on going support.
Students are requested to provide their own lunch – refreshments are provided.
Students may purchase sets of candles to take away with them £5.50 a pair
Anatomy and Physiology qualification is not a requirement to undertake this course
