What is Reflex Zone Therapy?
Reflex Zone Therapy (a form of reflexology) is based on the principle that specific zones on the feet correspond to organs and systems throughout the body. By applying focused pressure, we stimulate the body’s natural healing response—promoting relaxation, rebalancing energy, and supporting physical and emotional wellbeing.
Unlike a simple foot massage, professional reflexology and reflex zone therapy work on a much deeper energetic and physiological level. This therapy has been used across cultures for centuries. It’s more than relaxation, it’s a profound way to reconnect body, mind, and spirit and kick start the body’s own healing.
Why Train in Reflex Zone Therapy?
Here’s why our reflex zone therapy training course is in high demand:
- High-demand holistic therapy – Reflexology is one of the UK’s most booked natural therapies. Our reflex-zone-therapy training is Day 1 of our 3 day Reflexology Course.
- Boost your therapy business – Attract new clients by expanding your holistic treatment offerings.
- Flexible training options – Learn in-person at dates to suit you with our trusted tutors based in Bedfordshire, Lancashire, and Yorkshire, with more areas coming!!
- Therapist accreditation – Our courses are CPD-accredited, so you can gain insurance and start practising professionally right away*. (* not applicable for our larger courses such as Swedish Full Body, 3 day Aromatherapy and 3 day Reflexology, where an anatomy & physiology certificate is required along with case studies to receive the full diploma – you can sign up to our FHT accredited anatomy and physiology course here)
What’s the Difference Between the Reflex Zone Therapy Training and the 3 day Reflexology?
Reflex zone therapy is our one day “stand alone” course for those interested in reflexology and is an introduction to our 3 day course, being day 1 of the 3.
Zone Therapy is the forerunner of Reflexology. It is the foundation on which all versions of Reflexology were built and is a wonderful treatment in its own right.
It’s perfect for the intuitive therapist who wants to add to their toolbox, or those just starting out and want a modality that they can get insurance for and get going with right away.
Students who complete this one day Reflex Zone Therapy Course may upgrade to Reflexology at a later date and will ONLY need to complete days 2 and 3 of the Reflexology Diploma course.
An Anatomy and Physiology qualification is not a requirement for Reflex Zone Therapy but will be required should a student wish to study for the full Reflexology Diploma.
